The Lord thy God is the giver of all good things. All good things come from above. The Lord said, "knock and you shall be opened, ask and you shall receive, pray and it will be given to you". The Lord is good, he gives to man what he is due and showers him with blessings even he does sin.
We are only human. We eat. We sleep. We work. We sin. This is the way of our daily life but there is more to life. We are all striving to work to have money each day, for us to have some food, clothing and shelter and everything material we want to have. But this is not only the way it should be.
We must pray. We must thank the giver of blessings. We must share our blessings and be good to others. This is the way it should be.
For many people have forgotten the Lord God and they have forgotten to be good to others. They have forgotten to believe and have faith that God gives grace as he pleases and we cannot do things on our own. We must not forget that the Lord our God is a good Lord that gives us the things we ask in our prayers if it is according to his will. He is good and he weighs things and thinks of our good deeds when he grant our wishes. He doesn't look at our sins. He looks at our hearts.
I often look up above the heavens when I pray. I patiently wait for shooting stars during bright starry nights. I have strong faith that the Good Lord will answer all my prayers.
